Ingredients

  • 1000grVerin (revani mix)
  • 280g FAMA Fritto oil
  • 240g lime juice
  • 220g water
  • 80g desiccated coconut
  • The zest of the limes

  FOR THE SYRUP

  • 750g water
  • 1kg sugar
  • 250g glucose syrup
  • The lime’s skins

Directions

Place all other ingredients in the mixing bowl and beat with the flat beater for 1 minute at low speed until homogenous dough. Scrape the sides of the bowl using a spatula and beat at medium speed for 3-4 minutes. Place the dough into 30X40cm greased tray and bake in preheated oven at 160-170οC for 35-45 minutes (depending on your oven). FOR THE SYRUP Place syrup ingredients into a pan and bring them to boiling point. Afterwards remove it from fire immediately. Cut the dessert into pieces and pour the whole syrup gradually in it. Make sure both the dessert and the syrup are hot. 1,5-2kg is the quantity of the syrup you are going to need
