Sablé dough
Ingredients
- 300g icing sugar
- 350g FAMA Soft G margarine
- 350g FAMA butter 82%
- 1 egg
- 1kg soft flour 70%
Directions
Add the icing sugar, the FAMA Soft G margarine and the FAMA butter 82% to the mixer bowl and mix using the flat beater until well-combined. Then, add the egg and the flour and combine them to the mixture as well. Shape the dough into logs of 600g each using a baking sheet and put them in the fridge to cool completely. Then, cut logs in half-cm thick pieces and bake them in a pre-heated hot air oven at 160°C for 12-15 minutes or in a rack oven at 200°C (high) and at 170°C (low) for 20 minutes.
If you wish, you can add cinnamon or cocoa or FAMA Orange cubes or FAMA flakes or nuts.
