Ingredients

 

  • 400g FAMA butter 82%
  • 350g FAMA Imperial margarine
  • 30g salt
  • 4 eggs
  • 4 egg yolks
  • 1kg soft flour 70%

Directions

Add the FAMA 82% butter, the FAMA Imperial margarine and the salt to the mixer bowl and mix using the flat beater until soft and well-combined. Then add the eggs and the egg yolks one at a time and finally add the flour and mix until well-combined. Wrap the dough in a cling film and let it rest in the fridge. Use directly from the fridge. Shape the dough into 60cm long sticks, brush one side with egg and sprinkle with sesame seeds (or sliced almonds or Aegina pistachios) and bake in a pre-heated hot air oven at 160°C for 10-12 minutes.

If you wish you can add 20g of Formagioro (for cheesy flavor) or of Sauce Mediterranea (for tomato and spice flavor) for 400g of dough.
