Traditional Milk Pie (Galatopita)
Ingredients
For the cream
- 500g Primo Latte Cream (milk cream mix)
- 1250g Water
For the sheet
- 10 pieces Pastry sheets
For the coating materials
- 150g FAMA Fresh (vegetable shortening with 30% butter)
Fitting pack
- 1 pan 36 diameter with 3-4 points high
Directions
Whisk the cream ingredients in the mixer with the wire at a fast speed for 3'-4'. Then put in a metal container and cover with a film.Melt FAMA Fresh for 1' in a microwave oven. Next, coat the pan with FAMA Fresh like any crust sheet we place all over the surface and on the side panels protruding from the pan.Spread the Primo Latte Cream evenly, cut the tips of the protruding crust leaves and twist them in the middle of the pan to rest on the cream (like a twisted string).
Finally, place for 30' in the refrigerator at 5 °C and bake in an air-heated oven at 200 °C for 25' depending on the oven.
